Keynote Speaker
It all started with a TEDx talk in 2017: I was asked to talk about my rather unusual journey from a London investment banker to a Berlin DJ. Besides the fun aspects of my story, it’s important to me to dig deeper and highlight the psychological drivers of my transformation: How having had an early need to excel and impress through achievement made my “head self” choose a path that wasn’t actually in line with my “gut self” - and how the moment of final achievement made me realise that I had been following a self-illusion. Luckily, my “gut self” managed to break through and take over the steering wheel to change direction towards more freedom, more colour and more self-expression.
So I’ve told my story many times over the last few years - in English and in German. Here’s a few impressions:
